I never set out to start a skincare brand—I set out to protect my family. 💛
As a mother, my first priority has always been my children: Jalen, Ashod, and Kay’leigh. Their initials form JAK’s Essentials, but their influence runs deeper than just the name. They are the reason I started this business, the reason I push forward, and the reason I refuse to settle for anything less than excellence.
Like many of you, I wanted to give my family the best—safe, nourishing, high-quality products that actually work. But I kept running into the same problem: the products on the market were either full of harmful chemicals, watered-down formulas, or one-size-fits-all solutions that didn’t consider our unique skin needs.
So, I did what any determined mother would do—I created my own.
I dedicated myself to learning everything I could about organic skincare, cosmetic formulation, herbalism, aromatherapy, and holistic wellness. I didn’t just want to make products—I wanted to make them the right way. I became certified in organic skincare formulation, natural product preservation, and business development, ensuring that every product I create is rooted in science, backed by nature, and made with love.
But JAK’s Essentials isn’t just about skincare. It’s about self-care as a whole. I know firsthand what it feels like to pour into everyone else and forget about yourself. I know what exhaustion, stress, and burnout feel like. That’s why I created not just skincare, but a complete self-care experience—from nourishing body butters and scrubs to self-care retreats and my book & journal, designed to help women like you reclaim your peace.
And because I know so many women and entrepreneurs dream of launching their own skincare brands, I expanded into JAK’s Private Label—helping others turn their passion into profit by providing high-quality, ready-to-sell skincare products with their own branding. I’ve worked with small business owners, beauty brands, and entrepreneurs looking to create their own lane in the skincare industry. When I win, my community wins.
